About Us & How to Join Cub Scouts

Welcome! Cub Scout Pack 125 is open to children and their families in Wellington and ALL of the surrounding areas, from Grade K through Grade 5. Homeschooled boys, girls, and their families are also welcome.

Members may join at any time. Come to one of our monthly pack meetings and visit us!

Our monthly pack meetings are held at St. Peter's United Methodist Church, 12200 W Forest Hill Blvd, Wellington, FL, in Fellowship Hall. Click here for directions to St. Peter's. Our pack meetings are usually held on the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM.

We also hold two recruitment nights each year for families who wish to sign-up. The main recruitment night is held at the beginning of the school year; this is called School Night for Scouting. We also hold a second recruitment in late May, primarily to recruit Kindergarten boys for the new year. Both recruitment nights are held at Binks Forest Elementary School. Click here for directions to Binks.

Parents and Prospects:

Pack 125 is a volunteer program run by parents, supporting each other and sharing the work and rewards. Here is an overview of Cub Scouting.

For the Cub Scout program to work, we must have a commitment from parents, so that all dens have enough regular leadership, and all pack roles are filled (and jobs shared). Every year some den and pack leaders will "retire" -- and other parents must step up and help if the program is to run.
